DanBred Landrace (LL)

DanBred Landrace is a white breed with a long body, it is a strong pig with good legs. The Landrace is known all over the world for its high fertility, that is, many liveborn piglets.

All LL females at Maaling are placed in the test unit following the regulations set by DanBred. After testing and maybe genomic testing, each animal achieves a more accurate index. We are selling LL females after end of testing period at about 18 weeks of age.

The females are closely selected with focus on exterior and leg position. The feed is optimized with focus on gastric health and leg strength.

All of the LL females are evaluated and approved by the owner Claus Petersen himself prior to delivery.
