Mission
Maaling is a breeding center with pigs, we are a hatching egg producer and we are a plant breeder. In the pig breeding center, we sell genetic progress in production results in multiplier herds, conventional herds and boar stations inside and outside of Denmark. Our knowledge of genetics is your advantage as a customer at Maaling.

We produce hatching eggs for the production of broilers.

In the field, we produce feed for our own livestock production as well as high-value crops.

We are a serious and active partner.

Only motivated and committed employees can create the added value in our quality products that our customers and partners ask for. Therefore, it is natural for us to work for a high degree of employee well-being.

Vision & Goals
Maaling Avl & Opformering’s vision is clear: We want to optimize the world’s food production.

In pig production, through targeted breeding work, utilizing the latest genetic methods and passionate employees, we want to be in the top 3 in the ranking of the best DanBred breeding herds within Landrace and Duroc. In addition, we want to be the leading supplier of Landrace and Duroc boars to the Danish AI stations.

In hatching egg production, we want to be one of the top 25% in terms of production. This means focusing on stability and continuous progress.

As a plant breeder, we want to be above the national average for the year in terms of yield. We do this, among other things, by having special crops and thinking about both the environment and the economy. In addition, this requires timely care in the cultivation process and a varied crop rotation.

Within all production branches, we want to maintain a stable team of employees, and we want to be the preferred partner by focusing on quality and striving for high customer satisfaction.
